Who's behind this

Behind Morning Focus

Personal trainer and physiotherapist. I help busy people build real strength and eat well without living on a diet.

Why I work this way

I've seen too many people start full of hope and quit three weeks later, convinced the problem was them. It almost never is.

What usually fails is the plan: a generic one off the internet that doesn't know how much time you have or what kit is in your house, that doesn't progress and that nobody reviews. With that, quitting isn't a lack of willpower. It's the predictable outcome.

That's why my programmes include what they include: logged weights, an RIR for every set, timed rest and a community with a daily check-in. Not because it looks nicer, but because it's what keeps you there in month six.

My training as a physiotherapist gives me the judgement to adapt when something hurts. But what I do here is training, not treatment.

What I'm like to work with

  • Direct. If something isn't going to work, I'll tell you before you pay.
  • Realistic. I'd rather give you two days you'll actually do than five you'll drop.
  • Attentive. If you disappear for a week, I'll notice and I'll message you.
  • Clear about my limits. If it's outside my field, I refer you on.

Who I work with

You might recognise yourself

You've started and stopped

Several times. And each time you've been left thinking you're not cut out for this.

You have very little time

You work, maybe you have kids, and you need someone else to decide what's on this week.

You want real strength

Not two-hundred-rep routines or one-kilo dumbbells. Strength you can feel.

You're fed up with diets

And you want to understand what you eat instead of following a sheet of paper for three weeks.

Shall we talk?

Tell me about your case and I'll tell you honestly whether I can help.
